Review : Great cheap headphones, some caveats apply
These headphones sound really really great for the price. Almost good enough to be an "only headphone" if you're on a budget or travelling. Sound is rather "Sennheiser-y", warm and smooth with solid bass response. Treble and mids are there, but you're not conked over the head by them. Overall, very listenable and enjoyable.

The main gripe I have (and I imagine this is the case with 99% of affordable headphones) is durability. The cable housing split after about a week and I had to blob some hot glue on it to prevent further damage. I'm willing to accept that for $25 headphones.

As a basis for comparison, I own Grado SR225s, Bayerdynamic dt 990 pro, dt770 and Etymotic ER-4S headphones and have owned Sennheiser HD 600, px100 and a few others.

EDIT: Just realized the price went up to $40... still very good headphones, but I'm taking away one star for that (5 -> 4)
