Review : Great sound, cheap quality
I received the Velodyne vfree in black and my first impression is that they are smaller than expected. The ear pieces do not go around your ears but rather sit on top of them (preference thing).

Pros: The sound quality is good with great bass (expected from velodyne) and nice mid to high range as well. Bluetooth feature is cool but had trouble connecting to my android phone (iphone had no problems).

Cons: After only 2 months, the top headband began to crack where the hinge ends (inside the headband). I contacted Velodyne and said there is no warranty coverage since it was not purchased through an authorized Velodyne dealer. They also would not allow me to repair the headphones either...so I'm out of luck.

My thoughts are that these headphones are too expensive for what you get. Cheaper construction with plastic parts that crack over such a short amount of time. If Velodyne really felt their products were quality products, then they should have...
