Review : Nice design but very average sounding.
I bought these after a very satisfying purchase of Philips model HS500 so I'd have a 2nd set of one of the best headphones I've ever owned, with some improvements as implied by the next higher model number. Unfortunately the sound quality was not even close. These sound very average. Very much like most headphones that get included with a cd/mp3 player. Kind of tinny and totally lacking adequate sensitivity. In build there is a slight improvement. The pull relief system includes a reflective cloth cover over the cord, further strengthening a good idea. These got returned.


I believe, explains the few grievance about Philips HS510 Behind-the-Head Sport Lightweight Headphone with Neckband not fitting or leaking.
