Review : Quite possibly the best set of headphones I have ever used.
As the title states, these are probably the best set of headphones I have ever used. Don't get me wrong, these aren't perfect, but I'll elaborate on that in a bit. I love to use these for movies, music and video games. As I live in an apartment, I can't always blast my surround sound speakers, so in step the Pioneer Steel Wheels. I use these when I want to hear everything, from explosions to near whisper level audio. The frequency response on these headphones is better than most home theaters I have encountered, which was a huge selling point to me. I have read that the frequency range that the average human can hear is 20hz to 20khz. These drop all the way to 5hz, and as high as 28khz. I know that I can hear slightly above 20khz, as I can hear dog whistles, and the fly-back transformer on a CRT display, both of which are higher than 20khz. I have run a tone generator on my computer, and I can easily hear 22khz on these with my on-board audio card. Now for the down side. The cord on...
