Coming from an audiophile it takes a lot of specific thing that I listen for in order to buy a pair of headphones, while in taking in consideration for the practicality for durability and use for performance. As a DJ I was needing a 50mm driver pair of ear phones, with noise isolating for on stage and a very wide frequency range. These headphones are very good at that. Also an added comfort that these provide is the memory foam in the ear pieces so long durations do not bother your ears. The range is quite impressive on these things (5-35,000Hz). I can clearly distinguish all the instruments. They fold up very nicely, and have a variety of options for up grading, i.e. different cables, different ear pieces, and an optional carrying case. I highly suggest these headphones for a DJ, an Live performance engineer, or someone waiting to have wonderful sounding earphones, without paying mark up for artist induced headphones, like beats pro by Dre., where you are not only paying for the head...
