These Pioneer HDJ-500W DJ Headphones (White) way out perform every other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me personally are hight quality with low price.

Pioneer heaphones bring all the features that DJ s want. Great sound quality, dynamic stereo headphones. Comfortable earpads using urethane for slip free use. Magnesium alloy for lightweight and durability.

By combining 40 mm diameter drivers, thick um (micrometers) diaphram and a copper clad aluminum wire voice coil, the headphones can efficiently reproduce the lower frequency range. For maximum flexibility during performances, the HDJ-500 features a rotating arm structure that allows the user to rotate the right earpiece forward and back by as much as 60 degrees.

The headphones include 2 interchangeable cords providing freedom of movement during performances. The traditional 1.2 meter coiled cord (extends to 3m) is perfect for regular DJ performances, while the 1 meter straight cord is ideal for leisure listening.

Review : Great headphone!
This is definitely one of the best phone I've ever listened to! i usually listen to hip-hops and R&Bs and raps, sometimes classical musics, and hdj-500 rocks! It performs perfectly in the low end, the bass is tight and deep, although it is a little muffled, but it should get better after burn-in. The highs are a little recessed, but overall enjoyable. The mids sound a little unclear, due to the boomy bass, but if you listen to hip-hops, then it definitely worth a buy. This headphone has a very enjoyable sound signature, it is definitely one of my favorite! Compare to my Ath-m50, it is only lacking a little bit in clarity and little recessed in the highs (from a portable mp3 player), but way better bass!! The HDJ-500 is well constructed, the build is solid, and sounds fantastic with a mp3!!
